The Jordan Falcons will head out on the road to square off against the Panther Creek Catamounts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jordan is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Falcons last Friday. Jordan claimed a resounding 48-14 win over Green Hope. With Jordan ahead 42-7 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Jordan got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Landon Melton out in front who threw for 185 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. That's the most passing touchdowns Melton has posted since back in November of 2024. Damien Hayes was in the mix as well, providing Jordan with two TDs.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Jordan's defense and their 5.5 sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Noah Clark and Xavier Perkins, who each picked up two sacks apiece. Another thorn in Green Hope's side was Clark, who picked up two sacks, made six total tackles, and defended one pass.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Panther Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They snuck past Green Hope with a 24-20 win on Friday. The Catamounts haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Jordan better keep an eye on Travis Woodard. He was instrumental in Panther Creek's win, rushing for 102 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Woodard's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 102 rushing yards.
Jordan's record is now 7-0. As for Panther Creek, their record now sits at 5-2.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's game: Jordan has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 363.6 total yards per game. It's a different story for Panther Creek, though, as they've been averaging only 223.1 total yards. Will Jordan be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will the Catamounts flip the script?
Jordan couldn't quite get it done against Panther Creek when the teams last played back in September of 2022 as they fell 35-27. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
