After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kiowa County, Minneola was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 36-22 win over the Spearville Lancers. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Lancers: they've now won four in a row.

Levi Lang threw for 91 yards on eight of 14 attempts. Coy Denison was his top target, picking up 31 receiving yards. On the ground, Tyson Klotz rushed for 139 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 7.7 yards per carry.

Despite the loss, Spearville still got an impressive performance from Regen Sites, who rushed for 200 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.5 yards per carry.

The win got Minneola back to even at 1-1.
