Softball Recap: Whitewater Takes a Loss

Whitewater lost to Lakeside Lutheran on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Whippets might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-2 to the Warriors, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Whippets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Whitewater saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jennifer Gosh, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Whitewater's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Lakeside Lutheran, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-5.

Whitewater does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lakeside Lutheran, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Stoughton on the 28th.
