Basketball Recap: Nenana Extends Winning Streak to Three

Nenana waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Minto Lakers 51-35. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 53-40 back in January.

Several Lakers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ruth Fox, who posted ten points. Jena Smith was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Nenana's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Minto, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-7.

Nenana will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Tok on February 22nd. Minto does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
