Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bryan). They put the hurt on the Buena Vista Bison with a sharp 14-4 victory on Saturday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bears considering their two-run performance the game before.
The team relied heavily on Dylan Rathje, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Westin Williams, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
Bryan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Bryan moved to 2-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Buena Vista, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
