Classical Academy's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Escondido Cougars 72-32. The Caimans not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since February 4th (when they won 80-25).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Classical Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lawson Schreiner, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Owen Bouchilllon, who had 12 points.

Classical Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Escondido, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Coming up, Classical Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Grossmont at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Escondido, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on San Dieguito Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 57.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
