Dynamic duo of Taylah Leaphart and Kennedy Ligons lead Ridge Spring-Monetta to victory

Recap: Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans vs. American Leadership Academy Patriots
The Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They snuck past American Leadership Academy with a 37-32 victory. The win was just what Ridge Spring-Monetta needed coming off of a 78-18 defeat in their prior game.
Leading Ridge Spring-Monetta to victory were Taylah Leaphart and Kennedy Ligons. Leaphart scored 12 points along with seven steals, while Ligons scored ten points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. Those seven steals set a new season-high mark for her.
Ridge Spring-Monetta's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for American Leadership Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridge Spring-Monetta and Blackville-Hilda will face off at 6:30 p.m. on December 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Blackville-Hilda focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Wednesday. American Leadership Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Ridge Spring-Monetta at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
