Volleyball Recap: St. Margaret's Has No Trouble Against Hesperia

It's playoff time, and St. Margaret had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hesperia Scorpions on Wednesday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant St. Margaret's was: they took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-13, 25-11.

Despite the defeat, Hesperia saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Dylanna Akwaboah had 25 assists and ten digs. Akwaboah has been hot for a while, having posted 25 or more assists the last 12 times she's played.

St. Margaret's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Hesperia, they dropped their record down to 25-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

As of now, neither St. Margaret's nor the Scorpions have any future games scheduled.
