Volleyball Recap: Kofa Takes a Loss

Kofa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Maricopa Rams, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Kings of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-11, 25-11.

Kiya Sayre paced Kofa's offense, picking up four kills. Sayre were helped by Shevanieh Adolfo and Melina Martinez, who contributed two assists each.

Kofa's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Maricopa, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-12.

Kofa has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against San Luis on the 22nd. As for Maricopa, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Catalina Foothills on the 22nd.
