Basketball Game Preview: Okarche Warriors vs. Cashion Wildcats

Okarche is on a 14-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Cashion is on a seven-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Okarche Warriors will host the Cashion Wildcats at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Okarche knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 22 matches -- so hopefully Cashion likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Okarche blew past Minco, posting a 99-52 victory. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 20 contests by 26 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Cashion was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Watonga 72-31. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while the Eagles are ranked 346th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Okarche's win bumped their record up to 22-0. As for Cashion, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 18 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Okarche against Cashion in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 93-66 victory. Will Okarche repeat their success, or does Cashion have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
