Soccer Recap: Lansingburgh Comes Up Short

Lansingburgh lost against Mohonasen back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Lansingburgh can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 452nd, while Mohonasen are ranked 161st).

Lansingburgh's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Mohonasen, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lansingburgh will challenge rival Albany Academy for Boys at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Mohonasen is set to square off against their familiar foe Cohoes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
