Soccer Recap: Sullivan East Takes a Loss

Sullivan East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones, falling 5-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Elizabethton this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in March.

Sullivan East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Elizabethton, the win got them back to even at 5-5-2.

Coincidentally, Sullivan East and Elizabethton will both be playing Tennessee the next time they take the pitch. The Patriots will host the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Fighting Cyclones will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
