Folsom found a leader in Ryder Lyons as the squad took down Monterey Trail on Friday. Lyons rushed for 105 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 91 yards and one TD while completing 87.5% of his passes. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2024.

Lyons and Folsom will square off against Oak Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Trojans thanks in part to Lyons: he threw for 304 yards and four TDs while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt.
