Volleyball Recap: Gracyn Bleyle and Kendal Barber Secure Win for Hilliard Bradley

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Marysville, Hilliard Bradley was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the New Albany Eagles 3-2. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Hilliard Bradley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 15-25, 25-23, 25-19, 16-14.

Leading Hilliard Bradley to victory were Kendal Barber and Gracyn Bleyle. Barber had 20 digs and five assists, while Bleyle had 11 digs and two aces. With that strong performance, Barber is now averaging an impressive 10.9 digs per game. Mia Bartos also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
