After failing to score in their last contest, Godwin made sure to put some goals up on the board against Prince George on Monday. They blew past the Royals 5-1. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Godwin's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Godwin's victory bumped their record up to 7-4-1. As for Prince George, they moved to 9-3-1 with that loss, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Godwin will challenge Deep Run at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Deep Run will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Godwin surely won't give up without a fight. As for Prince George, they will take on Colonial Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
