Volleyball Game Preview: Long Beach Bearcats vs. George County Rebels

The Long Beach Bearcats will face off against the George County Rebels on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Long Beach is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Hattiesburg 3-0. The Bearcats haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for George County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Picayune on Tuesday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: George County took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-13, 25-10.

George County's win bumped their record up to 28-12. As for Long Beach, the victory got them back to even at 13-13.
