Basketball Recap: Allie Duncan Key Part of a Team Effort in Crusaders Win

After losing to Summerfield Waldorf the last time they met, Trinity Prep decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Trinity Prep Crusaders came out on top against the Summerfield Waldorf Mustangs by a score of 51-39 on Tuesday.

Trinity Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Allie Duncan out in front who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 16 boards. Duncan is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Avigail McDonald, who posted 23 points and six boards.

Trinity Prep's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.5 points per game. As for Summerfield Waldorf, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

Trinity Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 65-26 win against Pacific Union College Prep on the 30th. As for Summerfield Waldorf, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 28-27 loss against Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy on the 30th.
