Volleyball Recap: Charleston Trojans vs. Jersey Panthers

Charleston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jersey Panthers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-10.

Charleston's offense was headlined by Kaydence Hein and Lainie Keefer, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Charlie Milton and her nine assists. Olivia Blagg controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Leading Jersey to victory were Grace Russell and Mylie Ramirez. Russell had ten digs and one assist, while Ramirez had five digs. Russell is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Charleston's defeat dropped their record down to 5-27. As for Jersey, they moved to 17-14 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Charleston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jersey, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Glenwood on the 28th.
