Walden Grove strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 42-31 win over the Vista Grande Spartans. This was payback for the Red Wolves, who suffered a 52-44 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Walden Grove's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mitchel Collins, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Malachi KutiGeorge, who earned 13 points.

Walden Grove's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Vista Grande, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Walden Grove has already played their next contest, a 53-42 victory against Pusch Ridge Christian Academy on the 29th. As for Vista Grande, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Salpointe Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
