Baseball Recap: Westbury Takes a Loss

Westbury lost to Spring Woods back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Huskies fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 6-5. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jaymari Robinson made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Isaiah Jones was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Westbury's loss dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Spring Woods, they pushed their record up to 8-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

While Westbury had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
