Basketball Recap: Miller County Comes Up Short

Miller County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-42 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pataula Charter Academy Panthers. The Pirates were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 61-38.

Pataula Charter Academy had a senior duo take command as Nick Price posted 13 points and Kalik Daniels had 12 points.

Miller County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Pataula Charter Academy, their record now sits at 8-16.

Miller County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pataula Charter Academy, they have already played their next game, a 69-39 loss against Pelham on the 6th.
