Basketball Game Preview: Crowell Wildcats vs. Knox City Greyhounds

Crowell is 2-8 against Knox City since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Crowell Wildcats will head out to square off against the Knox City Greyhounds at 7:15 p.m.

Crowell is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Munday and fell 80-12. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-7.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Knox City). They blew past Northside 64-35 on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Greyhounds as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Crowell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Knox City, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-7.

Crowell suffered a grim 65-41 defeat to Knox City when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Thankfully for Crowell, Devin Guillory (who went 11 of 17 on his way to 28 points along with six boards and five steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
