Sam Lathers Game Report: @ Northpoint Christian

For the first time in his career, Sam Lathers scored a receiving touchdown on Friday. He picked up 18 receiving yards and one touchdown as St. Benedict at Auburndale fell to Northpoint Christian 31-18. Lathers' big game is all the more special as we consider it to be the best performance he's ever had.

Lathers and St. Benedict at Auburndale will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. George's at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. The last time Lathers duked it out with the Gryphons (back in October of 2024), the Eagles came out on top by a score of 10-7. Will another strong game from Lathers be enough to do it again?
