Volleyball Game Preview: SouthLake Christian Academy Eagles vs. Asheville School (Independent) Blues

The SouthLake Christian Academy Eagles will face off against the Asheville School (Independent) Blues at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

SouthLake Christian Academy lost 3-0 to Gaston Day on Thursday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

While SouthLake Christian Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Asheville School (Independent) got the win against Shining Rock Classical Academy on Friday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blues.

While Asheville School (Independent) won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-8, 25-12.

SouthLake Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Asheville School (Independent), their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.
