Baseball Recap: Stonewall Jackson Comes Up Short

Stonewall Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 19-2 to the Central Woodstock Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Generals of the 11-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Stonewall Jackson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Springer, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Stonewall Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Central Woodstock, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stonewall Jackson will take on Clarke County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Central Woodstock, they will square off against Skyline at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
