Basketball Recap: City University School of Liberal Arts Takes a Loss

City University School of Liberal Arts was the 56-45 winner over Kingsbury when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. City University School of Liberal Arts were just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 64-63 to the Kingsbury Falcons.

City University School of Liberal Arts' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyler Reliford, who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Denarius Perry, who went 7 of 11 en route to 15 points and five boards.

City University School of Liberal Arts now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Kingsbury, their win ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-11.

City University School of Liberal Arts will take on Westwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Kingsbury has already played their next contest (against White Station), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
