Soccer Recap: Moberly Has No Trouble Against Eugene

Moberly kept a clean sheet against Eugene on Tuesday. They blew past the Eagles 8-0. The high-scoring effort was just what Moberly needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Their offense was hitting Eugene from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Gabe Runde led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Moberly now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Eugene, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Moberly and Eugene will both be playing Missouri Military Academy the next time they take the pitch. The Spartans will head out to face the Fighting Colonels at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
