Volleyball Recap: Ponder Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Ponder had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Gunter Tigers on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on four straight.

Kennedy Simon paced Ponder's offense, picking up 22 kills. Simon got some help from Zoe Dishman and her 34 assists. Makaylee Ruiz controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Ponder's victory bumped their record up to 30-12. As for Gunter, with the defeat, they broke their 15-match winning streak and moved their record to 30-11.

Looking ahead, Ponder will challenge Bushland at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Gunter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
