Football Recap: St. Thomas More Takes Down Mt. Vernon/Plankinton in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only St. Thomas More walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans on Thursday as they made off with a 31-8 win. Considering the Cavaliers have won nine matchups by more than 20 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory keeps St. Thomas More at an undefeated 10-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 41.3 points this season. As for Mt.
