Victory Christian Center had lost six games on the road dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 2-11 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They snuck past the New Garden Friends Bears with a 54-49 win. The Kings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.
Carlos Marshall was the offensive standout of the contest as he posted 17 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Deshawn Coulter, who put up nine points.

Victory Christian Center wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 61-46 victory against Clover on the 6th. As for New Garden Friends, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 45-41 loss against Southeastern Christian Academy on the 6th.
