Trenton's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Monday: Bronson hadn't allowed a single run the last five times they've hit the field. Bronson never let Cedar Key get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.
Julianne Lampton made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Presley Thomas, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Tegan Barber was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Bronson was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .576. They are 5-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Trenton entered their contest against Branford on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Trenton fell 9-6 to Branford.
Addison Allaire spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and five unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up 11 Ks.
At the plate, Emaleigh Philmon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Charleigh Philmon also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Bronson's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Trenton, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.
Both Bronson and Trenton just can't seem to miss. Bronson has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.2 hits per game. However, it's not like Trenton struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3.4 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
