Volleyball Recap: Bishop Canevin Triumphs

While Bishop Canevin's victory against Beaver County Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Crusaders skirted past Beaver County Christian 3-2. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with Beaver County Christian recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Bishop Canevin had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 24-26, 25-22, 25-19, 15-7.

Bishop Canevin found their leader in sophomore Anna Sawyer, who had 18 digs and two aces.

Bishop Canevin was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 20 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.
