Softball Recap: Eastern Eagles vs. Manchester Greyhounds
With a playoff win on the line, Eastern rose to the challenge on Thursday. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Manchester Greyhounds. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Leah Rader was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Rader was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Braelyn Bevins and Aubrey Quillen did most of the damage at the plate: Bevins went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Quillen went 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
