Volleyball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Liverpool Potters. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12.

Graclynn Dray paced Edison's offense, picking up four kills. Dray got some help from Sophia Henderson and her five assists.

Among those leading the charge was Ayla Riggle, who had nine digs and two assists.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for East Liverpool, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-7.

Edison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Fairless on the 13th. As for East Liverpool, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against John Glenn on the 14th.
