Weslaco East lost against Rivera back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Weslaco East Wildcats were dealt a 70-25 loss at the hands of the Rivera Raiders. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Xandria Johnson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Rivera, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 17 rebounds. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last 17 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Abani Perdomo, who posted 14 points.

Weslaco East's loss dropped their record down to 9-22. As for Rivera, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-14.
