Sacred Heart Prep put the hurt on Head-Royce with a sharp 73-50 victory. With that win, the Gators brought their scoring average up to 50.9 points per game.

Sacred Heart Prep's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Alex Osterloh, who went 9 for 14 en route to 20 points and five boards, and Matthew Norris, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 16 points and eight rebounds. That's the most points Norris has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Zack Beals, who posted six points and five assists.

Sacred Heart Prep smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in five consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Crystal Springs Uplands lost 75-51 to Eastside College Prep on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Gryphons have suffered against the Panthers since January 26, 2019.

Sacred Heart Prep is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points per game. As for Crystal Springs Uplands, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Everything came up roses for Sacred Heart Prep against Crystal Springs Uplands when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the team secured an 87-31 victory. In that contest, Sacred Heart Prep amassed a halftime lead of 46-12, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
