It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North Raiders with a sharp 10-2 win. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their 20th in a row.

Trae Hernandez was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Ryan Morgan, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base.
