Volleyball Recap: Marshall Victorious

Marshall posted their closest victory since September 4th on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Forest Hills Central Rangers, sneaking past 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Redhawks.

Brynn Johnson paced Marshall's offense, picking up 15 kills. Johnson got some help from Addie Carden and her 24 assists. Finally, Peyton Tarmnel kept Marshall's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Marshall's win bumped their record up to 22-8-1. As for Forest Hills Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-12.

Marshall has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Kalamazoo Christian on the 5th. As for Forest Hills Central, they are taking a road trip to challenge Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
