Basketball Game Preview: Pottstown Trojans vs. Upper Perkiomen Indians

Pottstown is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Thursday. They will host the Upper Perkiomen Indians at 6:45 p.m. Upper Perkiomen took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Pottstown, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Pottstown was fully in charge, breezing past Antietam 65-19.

Jayanna Hill had an outrageously good game as she posted 30 points. Another player making a difference was Mayliah Newman, who put up 13 points.

Meanwhile, Upper Perkiomen ended up a good deal behind Pequea Valley on Saturday and lost 40-25. The loss put an end to the Indians' undefeated start to the season.

Pottstown's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Upper Perkiomen, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Pottstown couldn't quite get it done against Upper Perkiomen in their previous matchup back in January as they fell 36-28. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
