Lisle and Johnsburg squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Lisle had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Skyhawks. The Lions' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Brooklyn Burton paced Lisle's offense, picking up six kills. Burton got some help from Anna Gorzkowski and her 14 assists. Burton also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kendall Kolff, each putting up two.

Johnsburg was led to victory by Maddie Mays and Abriana Bruns. Mays had five aces and four digs, while Bruns had seven digs and one assist.

Lisle's loss dropped their record down to 18-18. As for Johnsburg, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-13.

Lisle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Johnsburg, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Montini Catholic on the 30th.
