Coldwater came tearing into Monday's matchup with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Russia Raiders with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cavaliers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Coldwater never let Russia on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20, 25-21.

Coldwater was led to victory by Brylee Knapke and Audrey Diller. Knapke had ten digs and four assists, while Diller had seven digs and three aces. Knapke has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Coldwater's record is now 14-3. As for Russia, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 13-5 record.

Coldwater and Russia should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Cavaliers (ranked 18th) will meet Miller City (ranked 177th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Russia will take on Houston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (69 vs. 454).
