Volleyball Recap: Abby Beach Key Part of Team Effort in Wildcats Win

Deer Park's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on Williamsburg with a sharp 3-0 victory. Deer Park was shut out 3-0 the last time they took on Williamsburg, so Deer Park was just returning the favor.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Deer Park to victory, but perhaps none more so than Abby Beach, who had 27 assists and 12 digs. Beach is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 12 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Grace Louden, who had 17 digs and three aces.

Deer Park now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Williamsburg, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-11.

Deer Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Mariemont on the 21st. Williamsburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
