Recap: Moffat County Bulldogs vs. Delta Panthers
The Moffat County Bulldogs pushed their score all the way to 63 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 71-63 to Delta. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Friday (61), Moffat County still had to take the loss.
Defeat or not, Moffat County got some senior leadership from Ian Champ hafey and Bryant Carlson. Champ hafey dropped a double-double on 13 points and 18 rebounds, while Carlson. scored 18 points along with five assists and five steals. Carlson hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Jr Welch was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Moffat County has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Delta, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.
