It's playoff time, and West Orange-Stark had no trouble coming through when it counted. They strolled past the Robinson Rockets with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 35-21. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Khelvy Jefferson had a dynamite game, rushing for 157 yards and three touchdowns. Jyreon Davis also helped out with an impressive 91 receiving yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: West Orange-Stark was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 278 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Robinson only rushed for 173.

West Orange-Stark didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ja'Cuincy Walker and Jonathan Johnson.

Robinson lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Evan Moreno, who rushed for 72 yards and a pair of TDs. Brice McCurdy was another key player, rushing for 108 yards.

West Orange-Stark's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Robinson, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-3 record.

West Orange-Stark didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 35-28 victory against Sealy on the 28th. Robinson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
