Softball Recap: Brennan Takes a Loss

Brennan has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.88 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They came up short against the O'Connor Panthers, falling 11-1. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Brennan saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karissa Juarez, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Brennan's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for O'Connor, they pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Brennan and O'Connor will both be playing Marshall the next time they take the field. The Bears will host the Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th.
