Samuel Fels started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-22, 25-22, 25-17.

Samuel Fels' defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Thomas A. Edison, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
