Volleyball Game Preview: North Fork Miners vs. Lake County Panthers

The North Fork Miners will challenge the Lake County Panthers at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday. The timing is sure in North Fork's favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home while Lake County has been banged up by 12 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

North Fork's tournament run continued when they took on Monte Vista on Friday. The Miners walked away with a 2-0 win over the Pirates.

North Fork easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Lake County came up short against Cedaredge on Friday and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19.

Lake County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for North Fork, their victory bumped their record up to 13-8.

North Fork came out on top in a nail-biter against Lake County in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Miners have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
