Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shakamak). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the White River Valley Wolverines a 22-0 shutout on Wednesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Lakers with their most commanding win of the season.

Shakamak has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.9 runs on average over those games. As for White River Valley, they are on a 28-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.
