Volleyball Recap: Silverton Falls to Churchill in First Game of Season

Silverton unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Churchill Lancers on Saturday. The Foxes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lancers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2017.

Churchill's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Silverton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against South Eugene on the 6th. As for Churchill, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against West Salem on the 6th.
