Volleyball Game Preview: Ketcham Storm vs. Arlington Admirals

Ketcham is 1-9 against Arlington since October of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Storm are taking a road trip to take on the Admirals at 4:30 p.m.

On Thursday, Ketcham came up short against North Rockland and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-15, 12-25, 25-17, 25-12.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Arlington and Mahopac had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Admirals were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wolf Pac on Friday.

Arlington never let Mahopac on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15, 28-26.

Arlington's win came from a few key players Ketcham will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Sadie Murphy, who had 12 assists and four digs.

Arlington was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in five consecutive matchups.

Ketcham's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Arlington, they pushed their record up to 12-8-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
